Therapy
Life can be stressful, confusing or overwhelming, and it can be hard to find the path that fits your needs best. You may find that the things that once helped you cope are no longer working. Maybe you have tried to make changes but find that additional help and support would make those changes easier.
This is where therapy can help.
I am glad you have taken this step for yourself.
1.
I offer one-to-one talk therapy, using a number of evidence based therapies to help each person reach their goals. Methodologies may include approaches such as ACRA, CBT, CRAFT, DBT, MET and MI tailored to help each person reach their goals.
2.
EMDR
I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). EMDR is a therapy that has been endorsed by a number of health entities to help individuals heal from the symptoms of trauma or other distressing life experiences. This treatment incorporates the use of bilateral stimulation to reprocess the memory to help reduce the vividness, intensity and frequency of symptoms related to trauma.
